For Debbie Wacha, Banking Texas Style is all about making personal connections.
“I love people,” she said. “I am basically a ‘people pleaser.’ I like the feeling that I have done something to help someone achieve their goals.”
A native of Dallas, Wacha has extensive experience in mortgage banking. She recently brought her talents to the CBTx family, and she relishes the opportunity to use her expertise to help the community she loves. “I enjoy the ‘family’ feeling and the fact that people in this community truly and sincerely care about each other,” she said. “I just started with CBTx. I have known several of the Palestine and Elkhart employees for quite some time. I love the fact that CBTx is so into community involvement.”
As a mortgage lender, Wacha goes the extra mile for her clients because she truly enjoys sharing in their success. There is nothing more rewarding that sitting at the closing table with a family purchasing their dream home,” she said. “If your customers are not your friends when you started the banking relationship; they definitely are by the end!”
Wacha and her husband, Steve, have two children, two step-children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is involved with the Palestine Chamber of Commerce and attends Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
