Lana White
Branch Manager
About Me
For Lana White, banking has been a lifelong passion.
“My first ‘banking job’ was in my elementary school’s MicroSociety, and it was the role I wanted every year,” she said. “As I grew up, I realized that same feeling never went away, and it naturally led me into a career in banking.”
After joining the CBTx team in 2023, Lana worked her way up to branch manager at the McKinney Banking Center. In that role, she leads daily operations with a focus on building lasting customer relationships, supporting local growth in the community, and ensuring every customer receives friendly, personalized service that reflects the bank’s values.
“Our customer service helps us rise above the rest,” she said. “We genuinely care about the people we serve and focus on building lasting relationships. Banking isn’t just transactions. It’s helping someone save to buy a first home or car, start a business, or just build the tools to feel secure about their finances.”
That dedication to providing exceptional service is more than just a professional commitment; it’s a personal pursuit of that magical feeling she experienced as an elementary student.
“My favorite part about my job would have to be the daily encounters I have with our customers that we have built relationships with,” she said. “We share stories, cry together and celebrate personal and professional wins. The most rewarding part is when an elderly customer comes to me, hugs and thanks me for being genuine with them and seeing them as a person, not a dollar sign.”
Lana was born in Amman, Jordan to a Jordanian father and a Mexican American mother and came to the U.S. when she was 3. She grew up in El Paso and moved to the Dallas area in 2014.
