Hunter Evans works with a wide range of customers, and getting to know them is the first and most important step.

After that first step, he never hesitates to go the extra mile for his clients.

“When a client trusts me with their goals, I feel a responsibility to give them my very best,” Hunter said. “Banking gave me a way to use financial skills to make a real impact in people’s lives.”

As a CBTx Commercial Lender, Hunter helps businesses secure the financing they need to grow, invest, and succeed. He combines financial expertise with relationship-building to guide clients through loan options, structure deals to meet their goals, and provide personalized solutions. He also acts as a trusted mentor to business owners, making complex transactions approachable while supporting long-term success.

Before joining the CBTx team, Hunter worked for five years as a portfolio manager and credit analyst. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning.

Hunter serves as secretary of the McKinney Young Professionals. He teaches yoga at Yogasix in McKinney and enjoys golf, fishing, camping, riding bikes, and anything outside.

What was the first job you ever had? 

Working on my family’s ranch in the Texas Panhandle.

What kind of music inspires you, and why? 

My favorite musicians are Jimmy Buffett and John Prine. I grew up listening to my Dad sing those old songs.

What is your favorite childhood memory? 

Fishing in Colorado.
